Nursing babies after taking in high dosages of Black Cohosh and its extracts are both prescribed and discouraged by Doctors themselves.
Careful research and studies have shown that daily dosage not exceeding 890mg will not cause any Black Cohosh Side Effects. The only small issue recorded is small gastro problems but that is actually nothing to worry about. In some countries, daily dosage is not advised for longer durations though the intentions of those discouraging them are not clear. There are no proven risks but still there are warnings. Well you have to get into grip with the fact that anything in excess is harmful. So remember, if you are pregnant or faces some oestrogen induced problems then it is highly recommended that you seek the help of your physician before going into the habit of prolonged consumption.
